Within the framework of the partnership project between the European-Ukrainian Hub and ReDi School, in March 2024 a group of Ukrainian women who would like to get their first professional IT skills, adapt their knowledge to new circumstances, and develop entrepreneurial initiatives in Denmark. During the course of 10 classes, the participants had the opportunity, in particular, to master the tools for presenting their idea to future partners, form a visual and content part, present their projects and work in project teams.
According to Alla Shorina, manager of external partnerships of the European-Ukrainian Hub, many of the group members had already had previous experience in creating projects, that is why it was important to find a solution on how to present and develop their own projects in the Danish business environment, relying on approaches that are important to a Danish audience.
"It has been a great and inspiring experience to work with our Ukrainian learners at the Hub. We were so impressed with how they took up the challenges of the course—and jumped into a whole new curriculum with a lot of enthusiasm," commented Rie Meyer Sørensen, course curator from ReDi School.
Course instructors included Peter Risborg, Rune Højgaard, Nooshin Lashgari, and Celeste Alvarez.
On Tuesday, June 18, the European-Ukrainian Hub hosted a graduation party. That day, the Ukrainian participants received certificates of study, and also got to know the graduates of other ReDi School courses and programs.
