On January 20, 2025, a significant meeting was held at The European-Ukrainian Hub. The main topic of discussion was Ukraine's reconstruction. The participants explored opportunities for attracting investments and developing cooperation between Ukrainian and Danish entrepreneurs, as well as the role of entrepreneurship in the country's recovery process.

The meeting was attended by Ambassador of Ukraine to The Kingdom of Denmark Andriy Yanevskyi, representatives of successful Ukrainian entrepreneurs in Denmark, and Thomas Fog from ATP Ejendomme .

Three Years of Supporting Ukrainian Entrepreneurs

For over three years, The European-Ukrainian Hub has been actively supporting Ukrainian refugees by providing them with the knowledge and tools to start their own businesses. Under the leadership of Peter Kofler and Veronika Rulli, the Hub has conducted more than 640 training sessions and taught over 4,000 Ukrainians the fundamentals of entrepreneurship. Participants not only launch their own businesses but also contribute to strengthening economic ties between Denmark and Ukraine. Many of the startups are working in innovative technologies, logistics, IT, and infrastructure, which are critical for Ukraine's recovery.

  • NamoDan, a startup by Maksym Blashchuk and Oleksandr Orlovskyi, creates IT and drone solutions for precise radio communication and landscape scanning, particularly for landmine clearing.
  • NordicUkraineInvest, founded by Lesia Ihnatyk-Eriksen, unites Ukrainian and Danish entrepreneurs and investors, helping to attract capital to the Ukrainian economy.

Ambassador Andriy Yanevskyi expressed admiration for the ambition and professionalism of the Ukrainian entrepreneurs, emphasizing the importance of further collaboration between the business communities of Denmark and Ukraine.

Support and Prospects for Development

The success of this initiative has been made possible thanks to the support of partners such as Thomas Fog (ATP Ejendomme) and Christian Motzfeldt (Danmarks Erhvervsfremmebestyrelse - Danish Business Development Council). Thanks to their participation, The European-Ukrainian Hub receives necessary funding to support Ukrainian entrepreneurs and expand opportunities for startups.

The European-Ukrainian Hub continues its mission to help Ukrainians in Denmark realize their entrepreneurial ambitions and contribute to Ukraine's future. We invite all interested parties to join the program and become part of a network of innovative solutions.
